School of Law Organizes Court Visit for First-Year Students

The School of Law, IMS Unison University, organized an academic visit to the District Court for its first-year BA.LLB and BBA.LLB students, offering them valuable practical exposure to the judicial system. A group of 30 students, accompanied by three faculty members, actively participated in the visit.

The primary objective of the visit was to familiarize young law students with the structure and functioning of the judicial system. Students were introduced to the categorization of courts and their distinct roles within the legal framework. They observed live court proceedings, gaining first-hand insights into how cases are managed, presented, and adjudicated in trial courts.

The visit also placed strong emphasis on the importance of courtroom etiquette, attire, and professional behavior, which form the cornerstone of a lawyer’s professional identity. Guided by faculty members, students were encouraged to connect classroom learning with practical experiences, deepening their understanding of the legal process.

This interactive and educative experience not only enhanced students’ knowledge of judicial procedures but also instilled in them a sense of discipline, responsibility, and respect for the legal profession. The visit concluded on a highly successful note, leaving the students motivated and confident as they embark on their journey to becoming future legal professionals.
