THE DEAN

Dr Amit Adlakha is a professor in the School of Management and Liberal Arts at IMS Unison University, Dehradun. He has more than 20 years of Teaching, Research, and administrative experience and has served in responsible positions in organisations of repute. He is PhD, MBA, Executive MBA (IIM Kashipur), M.Sc. (Mathematics) and UGC (NET) qualified. His Doctoral Research Work was appreciated at the Education & Research Conference (EREC’10) at IIM, Indore. He has published more than 25 research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals indexed in Scopus, Thomson Reuters, Web of Science, ABDC (Australian Business Deans Council), ProQuest, and UGC Care. He has noteworthy publications in high-impact factor journals such as Industrial Management and Data Systems (ABDC – “A” Category), International Journal of Bank Marketing (ABDC- “A” Category), Business Process Management Journal (ABDC “B” Category), International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management (ABDC “B” Category) and an Edited Book.

He has attended and presented papers at national and international conferences and seminars organised by institutions of eminence. He was awarded the certificate for best presentation and most commendable paper from Emerald for the research paper titled “Sustainability of a Supply Chain: A Conjoint Approach to Identify Sustainability Profiles of Indicators” at IMT, Ghaziabad, in 2017. His teaching areas include Business Statistics, Business Research Methods and Strategic Management.

Prof. Adlakha is a reviewer for the Business Process Management Journal (Emerald) and the Journal of Electronic Marketing and Retailing (Inderscience). The prestigious “Education Leadership Award” was conferred upon him at the 27th Dewang Mehta National Education Awards in 2019 for his contribution to the field of Business Education.
